Susan Ring has been a Florida Bar Registered Paralegal since 2012. She attended Weidner University in Wilmington, DE, earning her AA degree in 1973. Since that time, she has worked exclusively in law firms. From 1976 to the present, she has been working in Palm Beach County for a variety of personal injury firms. She started working with attorney Joseph R. Fields May, 2010 and has been with him ever since.
Personal Injury: Susan manages cases from pre-suit through litigation, including drafting of pleadings, keeping track of client’s medical records/medical bills, etc. She drafts witness and exhibit lists and pre-trial stipulations, along with preparation of exhibits for trial. She always attends trial with Mr. Fields as his trial assistant.
Family Law: Susan is familiar with all aspects of family law litigation, including the preparation of petitions for dissolution of marriage, mandatory disclosure, financial affidavits and discovery responses. She drafts witness and exhibit lists, pre-trial stipulations, along with preparation of exhibits for trial. She also attends complex family law trials with Mr. Fields.
ADA: Susan has experience with ADA defense work along with Section 504 litigation. On the occasional times when Mr. Fields is representing persons with disabilities, she assists in the preparation of all aspects of these cases.
